Warranty void if tampered with by any party other than LOUIS ARDENS LIMITED or its authorized retailer / agents.
Warranty does not apply if the date of purchase is not entered in the warranty certificate.
Warranty does not apply to any battery, strap, metal or gold plated bracelet, clasp, crystal, case or its components.
Warranty does not cover malfunctions or damage caused by accident, misuse or neglect (e.g. scratched or cracked case, crystal, or broken crown).
As damage to the case, crown, or crystal can allow contaminants into the mechanism, your timepiece should be repaired immediately if any loose or broken parts are noticed. Weak or dead batteries leak fluids that may damage the movement. It is therefore recommended that your battery be changed regularly. If your model has 'Water Resistant' engraved on the caseback, it is suitable for swimming, showering, accidental splashing, etc. However, it is not specially designed for deep-water diving. As water resistance is not a permanent condition, water resistant models should have the gaskets changed and be water tested at least every 18 months. If your model does not have 'Water Resistant' engraved on the case back, it is not designed for exposure to moisture of any type. Any damage to a non water resistant model caused by moisture is not covered by this warranty.
